Alice Underground
From Glasgow
Was located on Cambridge Street.
Apparently featured VW Beetle cars with the roofs cut off as seated booths.
As I recall, the front door was on "upside down" and the whole thing was done to give you the illusion of entering "Alice in wonderland". There was only one Beetle but there were seats in cut down phone boxes and other props.
It was a Morris Minor car.
As I recall, part of the seating area walls were decorated as the sides of a swimming pool - with lighting created the effect of sitting underwater - without the drowning of course!
