The Britannia Music Hall, formerly Campbell's Music Saloon, opened in 1857. In 1903 it closed for three years and reopened on 9th July 1906 as Panopticon or Britannia Theatre of Varieties and Panopticon. It became the Tron Cinema post 1922 but in 1927 it reverted to Panopticon. The theatre closed in 1938 but the exterior of the building remains and recently it has been discovered that much of the interior also remains.

Took part in the Doors Open Day.
