The venue has been greatly extended since it's previous incarnation as The Library. The ground floor bar area has been extended deep into the back of the building and room has been made for an equally spacious basement level live music venue with stage area. There are two bars on the ground floor, a seating area and two private karaoke booths (equipped with plasma tv, 12 seater couch and karaoke machine) on the first floor.

Plans were made between 1910 and 1940 to build The Capitol Picture Theatre at the corner of Sauchiehall Street and West Nile Street however these plans never made it to fruition [1].
